I kno this has probably been answered many times but i have just bought a 1992 mustang 2.3 5 speed.... now i was wondering what i could do to improve the performance of this car without swapping an engine lol i also need to beat my girls 97 v6 lol

It's been my understanding that you can't jus plop a turbo on a 2.3L ...Please correct me if I am wrong but aren't the blocks and pistons different in a Turbo 2.3 compaired to a reg 2.3....In different I mean one is forged the other casted. Hense giving the turbo set up block the strength needed for the added power of the turbo???

well your most power is going to come from a thunderbird turbo coupe motor which is still a 2.3 but it has forged pistons and a turbo.

hmm anybody wanna give me a step by step for a cold air intake?? or anything else i can do to my 2.3 while i look for a 2.3 turbo they are scarce around here
