Swapped from A4LD to T5, should I switch computers?

All done with my tranny swap in my 90 vert. I didn't change computers, still running the A4LD EEC. Should I switch over to the T5 computer? I have a check engine light on, I'm assuming it's looking for the A4LD and it's freaking out

Maybe not.

Read the codes first. It seems like it's hit or miss as to whether or not the mismatch throws codes. I didn't have any trouble when I converted mine to manual. I still run the original automatic trans computer without issue.

You may have knocked something loose or forgot to plug something back in.

Thanks B! I'll run the codes this weekend and see what I get. Before I removed the A4LD I was getting a converter lock up error code. Maybe I just need to clear it out and it'll be fine. I'll let you guys know what it is.
