Default higher compression EFI?

Can you make a high compression 2.3 EFI or will the EFI not work with higher compression?

Add a turbo from a turbo T-Bird, or if price is a problem have the head milled .030" that will give you about 1 point higher compression

I am personally shooting for a turbo, but was also thinking about picking up another 2.3 stang for this purpose (High HP N/A....... also means extremely light wallet from what I have heard so it would be a while.) So what kind of HP, torque, gain you think raising the compression would give you?
