Default 1990 vert, check engine light flashes at times, engine skips

I have a 90 vert that I've recently converted to a T5. While I had the engine out I replaced a lot of stuff. Timing belt, header, converted to roller cam, new ACT, EGO, cleaned all other sensors. But for some reason she'll fire right up and run fine, then skip, black smoke and the check engine light will flash a bit. When I rev it up the light also will flash on briefly. What's up with that? I've not put a radiator on it yet, so it has no coolant. So I can't run it long. Is the ECT giving a bad reading because it has no coolant? There's no error codes on the PCM. Any ideas guys? I've double checked valve timing and ignition timing. I've unhooked and capped all vacuum items except the MAP and FPR just eliminate a vacuum leak. Thanks in advance for the help.

All those sensors and vacuum lines work together to determine proper fuel to air mix ratio. Especially with the DIS. Hook everything up and try it agian

Install radiator so you can run it. Do you have a fuel injector crossed. I assume belt timing ok. Here is site with codes and possible solutions Ford Bronco EEC IV Codes
ECT will throw a code if cold but won't light light. Had it happen when ran code on mine and reread instructions to warm up car. So can run codes once radiator in to find problem. But may throw that code until tested with warm engine.
