Now I'm carbed but the rest of my setup is a offy 4bbl intake, ranger roller cam (pretty much the same as the 93 cam), headman hedder and 2 1/4 exhaust, no cat, with a flowtech warlock race muffler. It gets along pretty good but due to being bored over around .40 or so the carb seems to small. I'm sure with efi this setup would be pretty decent.
You should be able to find the intake on summit racing, along with the header but I got my header from racer walsh.

I would not go with the ranger cam because your 93 cam is very similar, pretty much the same cam from what I hear. I researching the same thing right now. The ranger header is good for some more ponies but it requries the exhaust to be reworked a little, I think. You can pick one up at a junk yark fairly cheap. Most auto stores sell preformance cams for around $70 and for like $150 you get cam and roller valves. Boring the intake is also a way to get some more horsepower. Hope this Helps

Thats what I got a OFFY 360 dualport intake for my 2.3 Jegs I think has cams for the mustang, so does esslinger, racerwalsh and cheaphp.com. Boring the exhaust will help too, the newr 2.3's have different exhaust ports than the carbed ones. The intake sold by racerwalsh allows you a larger throtlebody for a v6 or v8. looks like an offy 4bbl.

when putting a ranger header from like a 94 onto your 87-93 mustang takes no exhaust modifications. bolts right inplace of the stock manifold. and you can fit a stock TB from a 5.0 right onto your stock intake. it just takes a little modifications. like oblong throttle body holes to line up and extending back your throttle linkage about 1in to 1.5in.
