i need the four bolts that bolt the driveshaft to the rear end. its on a 93 2.3 with an auto. does anyone know what thread, size, pitch i need so i can go get some. i know i need at least grade 8 stuff. i just dont know what bolt it is. i also know that it is usually a star bolt or like a reverse torqes.

Don't know the thread but I think has to be that odd head. I don't think will have room for a regular headed bolt. Could be wrong. Go to j-yard about any rearwheel drive Ford has the 8.8 or 7.5 and grab 4 bolts.

The bolts on the driveshaft are 12 point 12mm bolts. I'm not sure the thread pitch. Most Mustangs and other rear wheel drive Ford cars should be the same. Go to the boneyard and get some.

These are available at the Ford dealer. Do not use an off the shelf bolt, as this is a high-strength bolt.

yeah i figured they would be, high strength that is. i am gonna go to the ford dealership this sat and get some. thanks guys.
