Thankful noob here & thanks for a great site.

we have a 1987 LX with a 2.3 in it. We are fine with the motor but need direction on handling/suspension.

we want to take it racing (road course/autoX) and need to upgrade our suspension & handling.

for handling upgrades and competition, Where to start?

Do they have serious understeer? Where should we begin? Sway bars (what model & years cheaply fit)? Do we lower it? coils? HD shocks?

Any advice appreciated.

a sway bar off of a gt of the same years.. 87-89 and 90-93.. i think they would all work, but i know those are the same
