 1991 2.3L Starting Issue! Any Ideas??? Please Help
i have a problem with my 91 2.3l mustang, it will turn over perfectly fine but wont start. the other morning i went to start it and it fired, but i gave hit the gas pedal up to 3500rpm and heard a whistling sound coming from what sounded like the exhaust. also noticed some steam coming out the tail pipe. it also smelt very strong of carbon monoxide. any suggestions on what it may be? I'm very sure its not the battery, alternator, starter or spark plugs but i was thinking maybe the fuel pump. tried hitting it while starting but nothing... |
