Post ebay performance module?

teah i was just wonderin if anyone else here has bought one of those cheaper performance modules off of ebay. i keep readin about it and ive already bought it.havent got it yet but waitin . so please give any input cuz i wanna know if this thing is really gonna work

hunk of junk

if they say its a chip they are lieing right there

its a capasitor

it works by fooling your omputer ro think the incomeig air is colder than it really is..

colder air is thinner so since theres more air, the computer sends in moregas...stay away from them

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.

X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.

Um, no. Colder air is more dense that hot air. Don't confuse colder in higher altitudes where the air IS more thin.

Think of cooling down charge air from a turbo or a supercharger. You are cooling the air to make it more dense and prevent premature detonation of the fuel because from heat AND thinner air.

let us know how it works ive seen those things all over the place and was curious as to what they did performance wise... or if it was just a waste.

If has little shaft to turn on it and hooks into MAF . Junk, Boss tried on my v-10 service truck, Gas mileage and performance both went down.
