Default Knock Sensor Hp Gain?

If any hp gain at all how much? i mean after you unplug the knock sensor. And after you do does the knock sensor go bad from being uninstalled? Where is the air quiter thing at i hear that you should take it out for more airflow?

It doesn't give any horsepower gains, but it stops you from LOSING horsepower after knock. No it wont harm it being unpluged, and for the air silencer thing, I believe there is two. Ive only taken out one. But you can find it in many .. many other posts. but heres a pic someone showed on where one is.

It just cuts the air tube down to about an inch, to maximize flow gut it and you will hear the difference.

I posted this in the other thread but here it is again.

Even if you gut it, it will still hurt flow Black because of the chamber expanding so much larger than the rest. Remove it completely and replace it with the appropriate sized PCV tube. It will cost a few bucks from Home Depot etc. They even sell rubber plunbing connectors and reducers if you need. This will provide a smooth straight flow path.
