Question 1988 Mustang LX convertable engine swap. 2.3 4 cylinder to a 3.8 V6
I have a 1988 mustang LX that I would like to convert to a V6. I have an early 80's cougar that has a 3.8 V6 and was wondering if it would fit up to my stock LX Mustang's 5 speed? I was also wondering what rear end, suspention, or other problems I might run into?

i would imagine that swap would be similar to swapping a 5.0

you would probably need components from 95 & up V6 car to make it work....
