Default 5.0L Camshaft in 2.3L? Will it work?

So, I have a buddy who has one 5.0L HO camshaft that he is getting rid of. Does anybody know if the cam will fit in the 2.3L head?

Seems to me it would, but have no solid evidence one way or the other...

Saw it in half and install it straight up! Works like a charm! May have to adjust the timing a bit, though.

do you need a picture, yes they fit...i wouldn't have put it on the list, just leave one bolt out, works good in a emergency(i end up leaving them in there tho i'm lazy)

Some years throttle body will fit. But will need to do modification. I guess time to look for a 5.0 cam for mine.

The black car uses a 5.0 tbody, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, starter, fuel pressure regulator, spindles and brakes....thats the only important stuff you need to worry about.
