Hey will this header fit my 2.3L auto trans stang??

it would fit in there but it wont match up to the rest of your exhaust. you would have to change your down pipe. i would say just find yourself a ranger header and will do the samething but wont look as good. but you could get it chromed. if you want a ranger header pm and let me know.

well im getting a whole new exhaust anyway so it doesnt really matter. I couldnt find any ranger headers but im interested it will be cheaper right??

it wont perform as well as the new one from esslinger will.. it should work with the auto

whats the new one from esslinger? and do the esslinger headers have o2 sensor threads?

I have tried to buy this header off of this guy twice.... All I have gotten off of him was the run around. Never could get a straight answer out of him.

On the average, you have to modify the header to fit the autos. The bell housing is just bigger.
I've heard that the stock manifold is fine up to 5500rpms and a stock 2.3 is out of ba!!s at 4500rpms. Mine is anyway. till i drop that new cam in there.

'90 LX coupe , 2.3 Fi. auto. Grocery getter-1/8 mile killer. Mods: removed airbox and silencer, added short cone filter. New exhaust including header and 40 series FLOW, Weld Draglite Skinnies in front, 8.5's with 275/60/15 M/T ET Streets on the rear.Thats right, I EXPLODED a 7.5" posi unit at the track. I sure do miss it.
I'm like a duck, calm and cool on the surface, Paddling like HELL underneath.
