its an old school disabler. 1980's era. its the same thing as the new security keys i just makes it harder for someone to steal you car. you can take it out or leave it . if you leave it just leave the chip in the car in the slot or if you want you can hide it when your not in the car. put it in the ash tray. its up to you but its an old security key. i've only seen one other vehicle with it.
