Ok so I bought a MSD coil for my 2.3 efi and didn't notice that there is a clip going to the orriginal coil with two wires on it. What do they do? Will it run with out them and just the wire from the distributer going to the new coil?

ok as far as i no they two wires are red and green. the green one i know is for the tach. the red one if im not mistaken sends the signal to the coil to send the spark to the distributor
