Default 1991 Mustang 2.3l putting a hydraulic clutch in any one

I'm thinking of ptting a hydraulic clutch in my 91 2.3l Stang. I did some research and looks like a 88-91 Ranger 2.3l came with a hydraulic clutch. So I was thinking of pull one at the local slavage yard which is less the $100.00. Has any one done this? any issues?

Thanks

The Ranger hydraulic clutch setup won't work. The transmission in the Ranger is different than the one in your Mustang. It's a shame really since it's a nice simple setup.

The one to look for came in the 87-88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. You'll need the master and slave cylinders as well as the bellhousing and throwout arm and the pedal assembly.

Cool

No. You'll just have to use the cable bellhousing. Your Mustang has one. It's a direct bolt on. The hydraulic housing is on the right. Note the mount for the slave cylinder...................
