carb problems on my 2.3

my car runs but when im driving down the road it surges all most like it is getting to much fuel then not enough it seems like the more i turn the adjusting screws the worse it gets?does anyone knowhow to fix this problem please help!

ive seen lots of bad fuel control sol. on those, usally run too lean , its mounted on the side of carb with torxs screws 2 wires and when engine is running it usally is clicking , big G

I have an 86 2.3 carbed and that thing will not idle right. I have to brake and gas it while coming to a stop and the thing diesels for about 20 seconds after shutting off. Although it does not always diesel but 8/10 it will. To start it I have to open my hood EVERY TIME and close the choke plate. The carb does have a small fuel seepage around base gasket and when I bought it did not have an air cleaner assembly. I have set timing but I know I hear pining when I accelerate only when warm. Any ideas or tips would really help me out fellas. Thank you!

my car did that before you need to set the choke thats what fixed mine from doing that now i have this problem im going to try to locate a fuel control sol.
