Default Electric fan not working, help

Just had 2.3 rebuilt and found my electric fan (radiator) is not working as the engine gts hot in traffic. I tested at connector - no voltage while running and engine hot. Does anyone know a quick way to trouble shoot this back and find the fault? I'm a condo dweller - no shop. Is there an in-line fuse? I don't think there's a fuse in the fuse box for the fan. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. Odlamn.

take off the temp. sensor push on one wire , and ground it with the key on, fan should start, there's a fan controller under the dash too.

Obliged. I'll get some shut-eye and work on this in the morning. Thanks for the starting point. Hope the weather is over for you folks in central. It's time for Spring.

The first thing I would do is unplug the fan and use the battery to see if the fan is even good. Then go from there.
