Exclamation 1993 lx check eng light code 224/223

So i had the wonderful folks over at Caseys automotive here in chantilly look at my car. I highly recommend them they rock. Got the work done quick accurately and was pretty cheap. They just moved to like right next door to me on walney so look them up if youre in nova. (they said my car was pretty and very clean*blush*)

On to the codes. Brian(awesome guy) pulled these two stored codes 224 and 223. He said they were an ignition/spark code of some sort. and wondered if i wanted to look into it. because at the time the light wasnt one its been coming on off and on for the past few days.

So since i just got my car i dont know when the plugs and wires where changed. so i looked at the records that the guy who sold me the car had anddddd ta da i got a reciept from DEC 2007 where he got plugs and wires at autzone at who knows how many miles. right now im goin on 70k. How often should i replace plugs and wires and what kind should i use? also will this remedy the stored codes and check engine light?

3 digit codes.
Ford Fuel Injection » 3 Digit Self-test Codes 111-171
Not sure on problem. Does tach read half rpm? If so a coil pak is bad. Which one I have no idea. Have read this on a lot of forum post. Mine uses the old 2 digit codes.

223 is Loss of Dual Plug Inhibit control
224 is Erratic IDM input to processor
what does that mean lol.
What is IDM?
Is says CM = Continues Memory.
So itll run but its not a problem?

What do you mean by half rpm? Like half of what it should or what i think it should be at?

Cuz thats pretty much it.

any other input? And how do i go about resolving this?

testing for which coil pack it is and replacing it.
