Default 1992 Energency Brake problems?

Hey there, on my 92 mustang lx i am having some ebrake issues. What i need to do is tighten the ebrake, i have a Hanes Manual but it only covers up to the non MAS air mustangs, where the cable adjuster is under the center console. If anyone could show me a walk through or tell me how that would be great. Im tired of rolling down the driveway

p.s i have access to a lift

Directions as per 1989 mustang shop manual (Mass Air)
Parking brake cable adjustments

1. Make sure the parking brake is fully released.

2. Place the transmission in NEUTRAL. Raise the vehicle on an axle-type hoist.

3. Tighten the adjusting nut against the cable equalizer, causing a rear wheel brake drag. Loosen the adjusting nut until the rear brakes are fully released. There should be no brake drag.

4. Lower vehicle, and check operation of parking brake.

ya that is what it has in the manual i got to... but there is no bolt of any kind near the cable. The picture in the manual show a nut connected to the gears on the brake... but i dont have that nut. but i will try looking again.

thats 86 and older, 87 and newer are auto adjusted in the handle, all you're adjustment is in your rear shoes, yes that does suck.
