Hey so i was hot rodding around in my 2.3l 89 mustang and goin fast and well you get the idea, so i pull into a car lot to look at some cars and i get out and there is a long line of trans fluid that is leaking. So i hurry home while leaving a trail of trans fluid and get it onto jacks and its squirting out pretty good, it looks like its coming from where the trans bolts to the engine, Is this a blown seal or something worse?

Sounds like to me it's your front main seal of your trans. It's a $20 or less part but will require you to take the transmission out and torque converter out to put a new one in. And while your at it you might as well as replace the rear main seal. Hope that helps
