Default Where can I buy transmission lines

I was replacing the radiator in my 4cyl coupe and when I was removing the transmission line that goes to the radiator it started to twist. So I tried braking it loose but had no luck. So now I need to find some replacement lines or some how fix what I have. I ended up braking the line right at the fitting. Anyone knows where I can buy a new line?

ive never seen prebent trans lines, you'd probabally be better off using a flare and patching the line, you may need to get and adapter to match to the rad fitting, and use regular fuel line.

I just got off the phone with the parts store and they told me that the carry straight metal lines in different lengths and diameter that I have to bend myself. So new question dose any one know the length and diameter of the line that is lowest on the radiator?

Cool

Go to the junkyard. Find any Fox body with automatic. Bring with you the proper sized flarenut wrench, a can of PB Blaster and a small tubing cutter. Spray the heck out of the line fitting going into the rad. Break it loose with the flarenut wrench. Cut the tranny line 6" back from the fitting. Stop by auto parts on the way home. Pick up a length of ATF hose and 2 hose clamps. Go home and cut the twisted portion of tranny line out of your car. Install the junkyard fitting and 6" of metal line. Connect that with your original tranny line using the rubber ATF hose. Problem solved!

Thanks guys for the advice. evintho I kinda did what you suggested but in a simpler way. Since it the line twisted off in the nut that goes to the radiator, I had to drill it out so I could reuse the nut because I bought brake line tubing but the nut that it comes with was not long enough. So I cut the line from the transmission closest to the radiator and cut the new line made a couple of 90* bends, then connected the two hoses together with a rubber hose and some clamp and presto . Worked like a charm. Ill post some pics when it stops ranning.
