i have a 92 2.3l dual plug Vin "M" engine. i found a used engine for $300 from a 93 2.3l dual plug. don't know if it's a Vin "M" engine, but i'm thinking about buying it and using it to learn how to rebuild an engine and/or maybe building it out as a 2.3 turbo.

1. will that engine work for my car without modifying anything?
2. how much would it cost to rebuild the engine?
3. how much would it cost to build it out as a turbo?

Dual plugs same. Maybe some wiring changes. I would use your wiring etc. And install motor. I have read there is 2 differant dual plug intake and they will not swap with each other. Cost on turbo that could get interesting. Forged pistons, exhaust manifold, injectors, head modification necessary unless staying under 6psi [ I don't think so]. Plus computer system. Cost I don't know.
