1992 2.3 mustang high idle problem

I am having a very high idle. When im sitting at a light its at about 2000 rpm. I just noticed that on my intake manifold there is one vacuum line missing. Does anyone know where this might connect to? Could that be the problem?

You can get a cap at a parts store for almost nothing.

Try backing off on the idle a bit at the throttle body. A vacuum leak usually hurts the idle, not speed it up

Well, do you see the hanging hose with no where to go to the left? Put that on there. Problem solved.

To be more specific, The hose hanging off the fuel rail to the left.

thanks, i found it and put in on there. It did help the idle greatly. But, im still having some issues when im coming to a stop. The car sounds as if its downshifting (like an automatic) but i have a manual.
