Default 1991 2.3 Coolant leak

Hey everyone, my mustang has recently started to leak coolant after being on the highway. It will leave small puddles on the floor, just below the front of the engine. Any ideas on what it might be, before i put i put it on the lift? Thanks!

That's where the thermostat housing, water pump and heater hose connections are.

Check the water pump. There's a weep hole on the snout that'll leak when the pump's shaft seal goes bad. Other than that, check the thermostat housing where the hoses connect for corrosion or rotted hoses.

i just bought a water pump from o'reillys for 29.99. if that's what it is, it isn't hard to change. on my 92 i had to remove the drivebelts, water pump pulley and the tensioner for the alternator/power steering belt to take the timing cover off. once you've done that, the water pump was right there and was only 3 bolts. if you decide to do it, make sure you use teflon sealant on those 3 bolts when you put it back in.

Actually, you only have to use it on one of them, and it is longer than the other two. You will see it will be wet when you take it out, because it passes through a water channel.

IIRC, it is the upper left one.
