Default 1983-1986 Mustang 2.3 Fuel Sender Ohm Readings?

Are the Ohm readings for an 83-86 fuel sender 73 Ohms empty and 10 Ohms full? I heared that they didn't go to the 15 empty 168 full on the mustang until '87, but I want to make sure before I buy the sender since my aftermarket gauge is 73/10.

I will try and read-out mine when I get home and post up. It just came out of the tank in working condition

OK, I got 77 ohms empty, 11 ohms full. My wiper must be getting older (wiped!), but at least you know that I essentially am getting the same readings you are looking for. Good thing I have a brand new OEM one to put in the tank...plus the old one as a spare.
