Default Need help with a 2.3l turbo swap

I posted in the mustang II forums but no one seems to be answering so I thought I would post here. I found a 1988 turbo coupe and want to put the engine and trans in my 1975 mustang II but I need to know how to wire the thing up. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction with some sites or something. Thanks.

That's a can of worms that I wouldn't care to open! I believe your ghia is carburated with no engine management system at all. You're going to have to adapt an entire ECU and EFI system. However, anything's possible with enough know-how, tools and money! You'll need a pressurized fuel system and complete wiring harness, ECU, fab a cooling system, oh.........and how are the smog laws in your state?
If it were me, I'd sell the Mustang II and pick up a next generation Mustang. Then it would be, pretty much a bolt in.

Yea I know it might be a can of worms but I've heard of people that have done this swap with mustang II s and pintos so I figure I'd try it. As for selling my mustang II that will never happen it was my first car and I've had it since I was 15. But I might just get me a early fox with a 2.3 in it and do the swap don't want to booger my II up. Thanks.

Don't do that! This swap is not nearly as hard as this person is making it sound. You will need some extra $$$ considering the Mustang II never had an in-tank fuel pump, etc... Anyhow, there is nothing you can't find/make. If anything, get the drivetrain into the II and then start fabricating/buying everything you need to make it happen. Doesn't sound like that hard of a project to me, it is just gonna take some time.
