I put new 225 60 15 on my car today and it's like driving a go cart. When you slightly turn the wheel it stays in that direction. You know, it doesn't move back and straighten the wheel out. What is that from?
93, Did you get an alignment done? If you just put a new set of rubber on you really ought to get your baby lined up...... tires will last a lot longer and it may take care of the steering problem.

No, I didn't do an alignment. It's not pulling, and it drives straight. I can feel every bump in the road though, but when I push down on the bumpers to check the shocks they are stiff. You can push down, then it pops up and stops. No little bounce at all. When they put the tires on for me they never said I needed anything up there. I know I need belts but thats not the problem.
the steering may be caused by low powersteering fluid , or a leak in the power steering system . get some prestone + stop leak . that might fix that . the other problem may have to do with your shocks or if its lowered that might be it too ...good luck

Yeah there is a leak slightly somewhere around the power steering pump. Can't find it though but it doesn't drain to where I have to add. I was also thinking the shocks. Those shocks are next on my list. Monroe air shocks.
In addition, the front end of the car has Struts, not shocks. Be prepared to use a breaker bar to remove the nuts holding them. Well, let me re-phrase that.....if the struts have been replaced once, and the person who worked on them torqued the fasteners properly, then you will probably need a breaker bar to remove the nuts.

If you replace the struts, get an alignment done.
I will, thank you. I have a good breaker bar from the MATCO truck. It's like 2 feet but bad @ss. I just can't find struts at a reasonable price. Advance Auto Parts here has them Monroe gas struts for $45. Are there any cheaper?
Struts are consumable parts just like brakes and filters. Grabbing that stuff off of junkyard cars is like grabbing a half eaten whopper out of the dumpster instead of ordering it from the counter.
Save up and get a new set of struts. I know when I replaced the original struts on my '91 a couple of years ago it made a big difference in the way the car drove

I'll add that I agree with the folks that recommended an alignment. Even though it tracks straight and doesn't pull to one side, it could still be out of whack. I always have the alignment done when I put new tires on the front.

I will, right after I get some struts on the front. I can feel every bump in the front end. It sounds like the cars going to fall apart when I co over some in ground RR tracks. I pushed down on the front bumper and it struggled to come back up.
