it's not a headache at all, the hardest part is adding a inline pump, which i'm doing cause i got a saab 9000 pump for $20, and repinning the ecm which only takes repinning one wire for the vam, and the other 3 can tie into existing sensors under the hood, and i'm not running a boost controller.here's a breakdown of the ecm, this should work for all 5 speed 2.3 conversions, but some of the newer turbocoupes have a octane switch that this one does not have.
i also included wiring diagrams to both ecm's .

Thumbs up

Yea I just recently got done swapping a 2.3 turbo into my N/A 2.3 mustang, its pretty simple, just alot of running around trying to get things the first time you do it. but the actual swapping and pinning is very simple and straightforward. If you need any help or info im more than willing to help, as is everyone else on here id imagine. : Goodluck with your swap! trust me its fun and worth it if done right!

i got it running, i had a wicked ass problem making the saab fuel pump fit, someone cut the quick connect lines off my car and patched them with rubber by shoving the plastic line down a rubber hose and clamping it, so i took the chrome plated steel lines off a 5.0 lower intake i had and cut the bottoms off and clamped rubber hose to them, they clipped right into the 2.3 fuel rail. the other thing i ran into was one wiring harness for the knock sens and air charge was different so i swapped it from the n/a motor. then after filling the rad we found the turbo line had a huge rot hole in it and and the tube snapped off the turbo when trying to repair it, but i had fuel line and a fitting here and it fit perfect. oh the other thing was the tbird p/s pump has a remote resevoir so i had to change the mount out. i have about 17 hours into the swap, tomarrow i have to wire the 2nd fuel pump to the relay and get the exhaust figured out. i think the valve cover is leaking bad too. check it out better in the daylight.
