Are you talking about converting to a factory Mass air unit on your car or converting to an aftermarket one?

Pre 91 cars were speed density and had 88 hp. The 2.3 apparently really responds to the mass air conversion of the 91 and later model, also rated at 105 hp. One dude said the improvement to his car was noticeable. I currently have the ECM and wiring to do it, just need to find the time.

Dude, your 91 should already have mass air.

Port the intake, put a ram air kit on. That'll get you 15 plus hp.

91 mustang should have a mass air all mustangs from 89 and up got it so u should have it.
