Hey all,

Just what the title says. I bought a 93 convertible a month ago and I noticed that the check engine light turns on everytime I drive it, but it isn't on when I first start it. It smells like its running a wee bit rich too.

Any ideas?

Could be an emissions problem. You would need to get a code reader to find out for sure. They can be bought at the autoparts store. It will be easier and cheaper than changing things till it's fixed

That's what i'm thinking. I tried to get the check engine light read and the reader said that it couldn't communicate with the car. It's not really a big deal but things like that irritate me.

change your O2 sensor my 93 was doing the same thing changed the O2 sensor no more flashy flashy.
