Can I use my distributor?

My car is a 88 Mustang, with a 2.3 and a 5spd. My car has alot of electrical problems, so I am thinking about switching my car from fuel injection to carburetor.... I was wandering if I could use the factory fuel injection distributor with my carbed set-up?

if the distributor advances using vacuum, then I dont see a problem. If the advance is computer controlled, then you have a problem. Call NAPA or a parts store and ask them if the part number for FI is the same as one for CARB.
