well it dosent grind at all if i wait till the car is at a complete stop i truthfully think its just the clutch.

i found a VAM for $15 and im looking at a LA3 for $40 tell me that isnt a good deal even with saving this money im just going to spend the rest on the car so skip the OCD medicine .

do you guys know anyone that i can borrow a Cherry Picker from for awile?

Sorry, I am not. But, I do recommend that you take your time and do it with the engine bay empty.
This will allow you to sit comfortably on the K-member and allow you to solder the connections properly. It will also allow you to take measurements of the old stuff so you can make sure the new stuff fits well, and so you can also spot bad areas where you might not get a pair of eyes on with the engine in place.
