My airbag system

I have a 1992 convertible 2.3. 4 cylinder.

The airbag light is flashing and there is a beeping coming from the radio, i thought it was the beep for the door but it doesn't beep when the door is closed, and it's a differnt pitch.

I was wondering what do i need to do to fix the airbag light and the beeping?

I don't wanna take it in and have to pay someone if i can do it myself, any help will be great.

i had this same problem. you know my fix for it... reached up behind the dash took out the bulb, and the beeping is coming from behind the HVAC controls in a little blue box. its a speaker about the size of a dime and maybe an inch tall... i ripped that out too... tada no more light, and no more dinging.

I just want to stop the beeping for the time being, ill have a mechanic look at it when i get the money, but right now i gotta get new tigh rods and a paint job.

I'm 16 and i have girls in my car all the time, so i don't really want my car beeping.. In the guide book that came with the car, i looked up the airbag fuse and pulled it, but the light is still on and the beeping keeps going. I care if the light keeps going i just need that stupid beeping to stop.

Well this is the only blue thing i could find.
I waited till the beeping was going and then I unplugged the two plugs and the beeping stopped.

Is this it?

Yes that's it. Now if you want to stop the beeping all you do is... The 4 round objects to the left with silver tops... Well the second one Down and to the right of it is the speAker. The one that is black with a hole in the top and a tiny bit of silver showing. Just grab some pliars and yank it off. I can honestly say that was the best fix I've EVER done to my car haha
