Question aluminum bolt-ons recomended?

Hello every one, Im new to this site and to turbo 2.3L. I own a 84 svo and was thinkin of doing light weight bolt-ons to my car. Im thinkin of going with some pro-star wheels, aluminum drive shaft, pulleys, and fidenza flywheel. Does any one have any experience with any of these products and would you recomend me doing so? I was told that there needs to be some weight on the flywheel to get it moving and the aluminum flywheel "might" be too light. I doubt that. My car's going to be a daily driver will it affect it in any way?

it will effect the way the car utilizes its power...the only thing you will notice is that it will take a lot less time to wind that engine up with a lighter fly wheel...when replacing that may I recommend SPEC Clutches and their flywheels. and a aluminum Pressure plate...and a Stage 2 carbon Kevlar full faced clutch disc.
Steeda has a one piece aluminum flywheel that is positively awesome.

Good Luck and remember...have fun^^

All these parts you named are great bolt ons, the pro stars look real good on a fox, aluminum drive shafts are the way to go but make sure its cut to size and balanced. Underdrive pullys on that motor really is no need but a good look if anodized.

Default Aluminum bolt-ons

As for the underdrive pulleys, I'm looking to get some aluminum stock replacement just for the weight reduction. It takes more power to rotate mass than to push it, so less mass on the rotating assemblies, which are wheels, pulleys, and drive shaft, the less power taken from the motor, and more power on the wheels. Does any one know what that plastic container right under the mass air flow sensor is for? Theres only two things connected to that canister, a hose that runs up to the filter box and a vacuum line which is broken. Is this vacuum line needed and what is it for?

is it a little black box attached to the frame on the passenger side toward the front by the radiator? if so all it is, is the carbon canister. it just sucks fumes off the gas take and holds them in there till you start the engine again to burn them.
