Default 1991 Mustang LX Is Confusing Me

So my 2.3 auto surprised me the other day when out of the blue i blew up the flex plate, I've had the car 2 weeks and bought it from an older gentleman who never bagged it and is the original owner. What gives? I didn't think 2.3's had part braking torque

Default flex plate woes

I had pretty much the same thing happen on '66 with the 200 6 cylinder and auto tranny. One of the bolts to the torque converter was a little loose starting a tiny crack that spread and worked its way to the other bolt holes......Somehow I blew a chunk out of the passenger side of the C4 tranny & when I replaced it is when I found the cracked flex plate, part of the cracks were really sharp edged as if pretty fresh and some of the crack was smoother like it had been going on for some time, If the tranny hadn't broke the flex plate would have gotten me.
Stuff happens........................................... ......

Default Friggin Torque Converters

well now I'm in a pickle. I took the torque converter off to get the flywheel off it and now it wont go back on. its an a4ld trans. Tried sitting there holding it by the pin and turning it slowly....3 and a half hours later I was quite aggravated. Needless to say i have confused a few people from my local Ford dealer when i asked for suggestions. so that being said, anyone have an idea of wtf is going on??
Thanks, NI7S2S0AN

Exclamation Really confused

Ok, so i got it back together but now my oil pressure is weird. Checked oil, its full and no leaks. When at idle in neutral its fine, but when in gear it goes down to zero untill 3000rpm. Any ideas ppl?
