I have a 2.3 with adjustable lifters. in order to keep the solid lifters in place, I drilled holes and put set screws in the head. I ran it a few times , and decided to check the screws, and they had backed out a bit. So in the process of removing them to try lock tight on the screw. I dropped a screw down the oil hole. Not my proudest moment obviously. It sounded like it hit the oil pan, do the holes go straight to the pan or what? any advice?
