the check valve comes off of the main vacuum tree and goes down through the fire wall where does it go how do i access it. i may be wrong on the naming but it says it is a distributor check valve

Is it on the passenger side and looks like the one in the picture?? If so, it is the check valve for the heater controls and the vacuum canister.

BTW, the distributor does not work off of vacuum advance with an EEC controlled car.
