I am converting my 2.3 auto to a 5 speed. Here are two links that I found really helpful:

AOD to T5: A 12 Step Program : Short Line Garage

Auto to 5 Speed Tranny Swap

The job is really not that hard to do. We do them all the time in our shop. The best way is to buy a donor car and switck everything. Its a lot easier than you think. If you have a donor car you can compair and switch. 5 speed mustangs are pritty cheap with the 4 cyl. I bought one lastweek for $400.00 bucks. Body was shot and motor and trans perfect.

Hay no sweat dude that job is a piece of cake. I bet after you do it you will take your brothers for a ride. Its a great feeling to get rid of that slush box auto and drive a 5 speeder. Just dont forget to install the pilot bearing. Good luck tom

well going back to the initial question; you should do some research before opening up a thread, and when someone gives you some advice, take it and use it, don't be a b1tch and talk mad $hit.

after all, you are asking for ppl's advice on here because you need it, why else would you be posting?

as for this whole idea of what area in sacramento is better; highlands or the heights; doesn't matter. its still sacramento. you still accomplish nothing living there.

so spark plug, get out of your parents basement and grow up.
