where can i get a t5 for my 2.3l ford mustang???

I have a rebuild one for $650. If you want to go the cheaper quick and dirty route you can get used ones at junkyards, good luck with that though. The 1982 to 1992 Camaros also had T5 transmissions, i also have one of those too, the only difference seems to be the shifter box...

The shifter, input shaft size and spline count, not to mention the gear ratios. Stay away from the GM spec T5's.

Look for 85 and newer 4cyl Mustangs or T-Bird Turbo Coupes. Watch the 87-88 Turbo Coupes as they have hydraulic clutch actuation rather than the cable setup the Mustangs used.

ok thanks guys... o and someone said i can get one out of a 4cyl ford ranger is that true and if so what year??

No. The Ranger's use a Mazda transmission. They never had a T5

the rangers will work but I don't know if they will fit in our cars.
