ways to acess trunk from interior 1991 Mustang convertible

im going to be running some power cables back there. just wondering how im going to go at this... i believe there is a firewall but im not too sure

I don't have a vert, so there may be a 'firewall', but in the coupes there is only 2 pieces of metal to support the back seat. All you'll have to do is take out the back seat and the insulation... hopefully, lol.

ok well i have a 91 convertible as well, and when i ran speaker wire and a few other accessories, i had to just look around for small gaps here and there where i could push through just enough wire...you will have to take the little carpet/plastic pieces down from the inside of the trunk almost like your going for the spare tire and look through from the inside of the car in the convertible "well" area where the top is stored and you might find space to push some wires either that or you can drill a small hole through this area, be careful though you wouldnt want any leaks....

Okay, I thought of another way... It is much more of pain but in case you can't go through the back-seat...

Go over the wheel well and under the panel just behind the door. To do this, you will have to take out the trunk pieces and the interior panel behind the door.

well i have it figured out. it was pretty sorry but there was actually a small tear or opening that was just big enough to shove the wires through.

mission accomplished, trunk back to normal (sorta) lol
