Ok here is my question. I have the turbo upgrade coming along and want to know what to do for the rest of the exhaust. I have a 3" downpipe to a 3" high flow cat and 3" pipe after that. I have acess to a dual 2 1/4" cat back system from a 5.0. can I use this set up or should I get a 2 1/2" cat back. I am thinking 3" all the way may cause clearance issues. I guess my basic question is will I loose anything by staying with the 2 1/4 duals.

I run a complete 3" all the way back with a high flow cat and no muffler. You can run a 3" down then to a 3" HF cat reduced to 2 1/2 no muffler and a 2 1/2 tailpipe. Duals will cost you ponies as well as muffler or mufflers

Hey Tom, is it really loud without the muffler???

Totally cool and the cops dont bug me at all. If you bring the exhaust all the way to therear its not loud at all. Now on my big hp coupe its a little different. Its louder but still not bad. I never had a problem with being stopped for noize. TOM
