Sometimes when I am you know...driving, my steering temporarily gets stuck and I give it a minor yank and it stops and it will do it once in a little while.

Can this happen from low fluid or just really crappy fluid in general? There is no knocking or leaning to one direction, nor is there free play. it just holds it for about 2 seconds then I give it a minor yank and keep trucking.

Any suggestions? My line is not restricted nor is there a leak.

The rack is probably going bad. I suggest you fix it as soon as possible. Just make shure the belt is ok and the tension on the belt is ok. Tensioner (etc)
