Iam rebuilding my 88 2.3 turbo motor and it needs a rebuild. iam was gona do a 30. over and i just need some in put on the type of pistons you guys recommend. iwas gona buy that stroker kit on "esslinger" the J.E.\. .030 Forged Piston 2500cc 5.7 Rod Lenght. is that a good idea or should i not stroke it? Also what would be a good cam for the car i would like to reach a 300hp if thats possible. iam gona put a garret turbo on to but i don't know witch one to buy yet can anyone reccomend one for me?

300 hp is the maximum HP that the stock ECM can produce. I would use a T3-T4 hybrid. The kit you are looking at has a poor oil controll problem. I would stay with the stock crank and overbore .020 if possible. As for the cam you will need at least 525L 215D@ .050 and a CL of app 115*. I personally would spend the money on a cylinder head and i recommend contacting BO. He also can help you with one of his cams. My car is around 450 HP and is very streetable. Hope this helps TOM
