Default 1993 2.3L hydraulic clutch conversion

I have a 93 2.3 and want to ditch the clutch cable

I was looking at using a toyota land cruiser slave cyl.

Ford actually used a hydraulic clutch on 87 and 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. You can get most if not all of the parts needed to do the swap from a donor. You've got to get the pedal setup and bellhousing from a donor either in a junkyard, classified, or ebay. The rest you can probably get at the parts store. You'll need the slave and clutch master and line.

That is not a good idea. Most of the parts are obsolete. I have converted many over the years but i personally would stay with a cable setup. It's going to be hard to find parts and if you need a part in a hurry forget it.

Tom, on the main 2.3 page in the upper right corner is a button labled "New Thread" or something like that. Click it and you can start your own thread.

THANKS CHANDLER i am the worst at computers. I still cant find it . I think it's not on their. Unless I am looking in the wrong place. I probably am. I tell you the T key really bugs me. It keeps on moving to different places on this key board. I have only got into computers 6 months ago. I stink at it.

To the OP. Pardon the hijack. We'll get back to your hydraulic clutch in a second.

Tom. Right under the box that shows the most recent posts, and just above the box that shows all of the posts, there's a blue button that says "New Thread"

Sounds like you're running about 6.5% on the 10% Rule.

The 10% rule says: To be successful, one must be 10% smarter than the equipment they use.
