86 svo. running maf swap?

I have a new jet maf for a 90's fox 5.0.. I want to get rid of the vane meter.
My question is will the EEC read the maf?
and if not what will need to be done to accept this swap/

It ain't plug and play by any means. There have been plenty of write-ups on it over at TF
