Default question on bore-stroke for 2.3

Can anyone tell me if they know what the stock bore and stroke for a 2.3 turbo engine. iam doing a turbo rebuild and all i can find are stroker kits like 2.5stroke. What is the stock rod legth is it 5.2/5.4/5.5/5.6 i don't know. would anyone recommend a storker kit for a turbo block? i didn't know if that would make the comprsion higher, cuz i thought that a low compresion was the way to go with a turbo engine.

lower compression is the way to go or you'll run the risk of detonation. unless you can afford racing gas @ almost 9 bucks a gallon.

Not exactly true it depends on the cam you are running. My high HP 2.3 runs 2455 pistons and they are 9-1. Basically you are correct but the cam is the final decision on CR figures. Remember the CR is a mechanical number. Compression preasure is determined by the cam. TOM
