Default Rebuilding a 2.3l Engine

Are their any good websites or books that would take a noob through the step by step process of rebuilding such an engine?

Haynes manual goes over it. I am sure there are better books or try stingerperformance.com. They have everything

Try this for a factory shop manual. www.foxonautoliterature.com. They have original shop manusls. You can get a turbo coupe manual that will cover the 2.3. Check their web site they probably have a manual

Whether a 2.3 or one of my 586 BB chevy motors the same procedures hold true. All an engine is is an air pump. The more fuel and air it can pump the more HP it makes. Whether it's a single cylinder or 16 it's the same. Hope this helps. Sorry stanger those books dont cover the 2.3 maybe one of the books listed will help you out on some technical stuff. Sorry. Try the other web site for a factory manual.
