Straight pipe, no cats I found a straight pipe, no cats with stock muffler and a turn down after the muffler for $16 at the yard. I'm in the process of changing it out in between rain. Can anyone tell me the difference I should notice?

Sounds and feels great. 2 1/4 pipe. Can I put a tailpipe from a 5.0 with the chrome tip on it and it not lose power?

nice work, post a vid clip so I can hear what this thing sounds like, I dont know much about the 2.3, but turndowns make alittle more power with the V8's

Hay 93 they make a 2 1/2" tail pipe for the mustang and it fits perfect. Tom jr orderes them in the body shop. I will ask him when he comes home. He is chevy hunting tonight with my TC.

Yeah. The driver side tailpipe from a 5.0/GT. Now if I get 1 with the chrome tip on it like the 5.0's have, will it kill anything? I believe the pipe is 2.25 all the way to the muffler, then a turn down. And I believe I can get the Ranger tubular header on this setup easier.

Today I was coming home from work, when it hit second gear I floored it. That little phucker shot from 20 something to 55 in no time. It also shifted into 3rd later, like the beginning of the red.

you said you found the straight pipe in the yard, what does that mean? i want to find something just like that for my '93 'vert 4-cyl. all i seem to find have cats. i just want straight pipes from ranger header to the flowmaster muffler.

I found it on a 92' 2.3l mustang at the junk yard. Paid $16 for it. I'm guessing I got lucky.

Get a flowmaster on there, that muffler looks like a joke, stock one is, cheap one is, flowmaster on nice chambered muffler.
