I have an 89 2.3 mustang. I finally got all the codes cleared except a code 14. I already replaced pick up coil. The car starts but wont idle and runs really rough. If you rev it up to about 2500 or higher it runs fine. Any ideas? thanks

Code 14 Two successive eratic PIP pulses occurred. Cap, rotor, wires, plugs. Or tif module or pip pickup can cause this code. What it is telling you is the engine is missing. Rough idle or no idle. Then runs fine above rpm. Vacuum leak low compression timing jumped timing belt. Do a compression test and look for vacuum leaks. once the no idle condition is repaired the code will go away.
